Congratulations on the birth of your child! We are delighted to welcome your newborn into our parish community.

Baptism is the foundation of the Christian life, the gateway to the Holy Spirit, and the door that opens the way to all other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin, reborn as sons and daughters of God, and made members of Christ’s Church, sharing in its mission.

As parents, you are the first teachers of your child in the ways of faith, and Baptism preparation is designed to support you in this vital role. Your child’s Baptism is a significant moment for you and your family, and it is equally meaningful for our parish as we welcome your child into the Christian community.

The Sacrament of Baptism is usually celebrated on Saturday evenings and occasionally on Sunday afternoons in our churches. To check the availability of dates, please click the links below.

When registering for Baptism, you will need to provide some details about your child, the parents, and the godparents. Only one godparent is required, but if you choose two, one must be male and the other female. Godparents must be at least 16 years old and practising Catholics.

After registering, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Baptism Preparation Course, which must be completed before the Baptism ceremony.
